DIY Baby Joggers (UPCYCLE)

02/02/2018

This is a super fun and easy DIY for my crafty Moms out there!

I love making these cozy little harem pants for my kids because they're comfy for them and thrifty for me.

I use old t-shirts of mine and my husband's so it's $0 cost.

MATERIALS:

Sewing Machine

Elastic

Pins

Scissors

T-shirt

STEP1

If you're using a smaller t-shirt, then cut the top off your shirt.

Next fold the shirt in half and lay a pair of pants that currently fit your child and use it as a pattern.

Next fold down the waistband (just enough to fit the elastic) and sew closed.

Also pin the U-shape close to create your inseam

Put a safety pin in the elastic and push it through the waistband.

Sew the waistband closed and then close the gap in your waistband.

Now sew the gap in your waistband closed and you're done!

If you're using a larger shirt and want to incorporate the logo, you will do it slightly different.

Fold the shirt in half, with the logo visible to you.

Lay your pants on as a pattern to see where you will cut.

Now cut the pants out, avoiding the center front area, which is on the fold.

Now open them and pin the inseam, sideseams and waistband down. Follow the steps above!

DONE!
